Undoubtedly, the best skit from Saturday's show was "Lab Partners" (press play above to see it!), a Team Edward vs. Team Jacob bit in which Taylor played an Edward Cullen-obsessed high school girl. Dressed in what could have been Taylor Swift's Bella wig and a Team Edward T-shirt, Taylor held a mock- debate with Team Jacober Jenny Slate, arguing the merits of the ancient bloodsucker over the teen werewolf, making a few self- deprecating potshots along the way. "Those are fake abs," said Taylor of Jacob's beefed up physique. "They were CGIed like the wolves. If those abs are real than the dude that played Jacob deserves an Oscar." Taylor also gave strong performances as a spazzed-out football player trying to film a Rose Bowl promo and as a show-choir singer with snazzy dance moves and a thick accent. Something about the 17- year-old's performance Saturday night felt slightly intense.
